It is a pleasure to
introduce myself to all the members and visitors to The Mid Yorkshire Golf Club
, shortly ( October 2nd ) I will be joining the team at MYGC and
look forward to meeting you all personally.
My decision to base myself
at MYGC was taken for a number of reasons but primarily because the golf club
has long term plans for developing the driving range , shortgame facilities and
wants to really change the golf coaching programs and offer a more comprehensive
range of coaching packages and formats.
Over the years I have
taken a real pleasure in attending many seminars and conferences both in the UK
and overseas , in 2011 I visited the USA and spent 5 days with Mr Michael
Hebron who was just recently inducted into The PGA of Americas hall of fame
As Head Golf Coach my aim
is to encourage , motivate and inspire you to better golf , my coaching style
is relaxed and friendly and committed to your personal goals and ambitions , my
experience allows me to be happy coaching a beginner through to elite players ,
county golfers and touring professionals
You will see some new and
interesting coaching packages on offer that I know will help you improve and
enjoy the coaching experience.
Some of the coaching
packages on offer are senior groups , ladies groups , winter coaching package ,
shortgame mastery , driving your ball , putting analysis and lastly brand new
to MYGC Bitesize Golf
A 6 week structured
program for junior golfers age 6+ , full details posted shortly , keep your eyes on the website and notice
boards !!
As we approach late summer
the weather is still behaving itself , but come autumn and winter we are bound
to encounter cooler conditions , at these times I will take groups to Barcelona
Spain for a 4 night winter coaching break that’s always fun and enjoyable
In 2014 I plan to have
some interesting guests coming to MYGC more on that to follow later in the year
