Leeds & District Nett & Amateur Stroke play events

Mid Yorkshire Golf Club proved to be one of the most represented clubs on thursday 6th June at Garforth GC, for two premier Leeds & Distrcit events. The day consisted of of the 18 hole Leeds Nett Strokeplay Championship and the 36 hole Leeds Amatuer Strokeplay Championship.

Brian Barnaby was victorius in his handicap division winning the Nett Trophy for that division.

Club Captain Tim Kent playing in both events secured 2nd place overall in the Nett Trophy with his first round gross 75 nett 68. while his second round gross 72  secured 5th place in the Leeds Amatuer Strokeplay Championship.

Tim now progresses to play in the Leeds Amatuer Championship later in the season.
