A Fantastic win for the Scratch team at home to runaway Leaders Cookridge 5- 1 sets up the possibility of a 3rd consecutive promotion or an outside chance of the Div 2 Championship with just 4 games to go.
Martyne Clancy & Jason Newton both beat County Players with Darren Greene picking up a half on the 18th.
The Top 2 Cookridge & Horsforth play each other on Monday.
Even though this was a home game the Cookridge support out numbered the MYGC support in each match 5- zero so for the last 2 home games the MYGC lads have asked for any member who can get up to the club to support them and make the difference to please do so, even if it was for 9 holes or so.
The next home fixture is NEXT MONDAY, 7th July, 5pm v Low Laithes
The Yorkshire PGA that was held here at the Mid Yorkshire Golf Club last week was an eventful and challenging week for organisers and competitors a like.
All enjoyed the week and the fine weather just added to the excitement.
